Volunteering at the Library
Our volunteer program allows individuals ages 13 and older the opportunity to gain valuable service skills while making a difference in the lives of others. Volunteer opportunities are available whether you are seeking required volunteer hours for school or court-appointed community service, or just giving back to the community.
Teen Volunteering
If you’re friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children, sign up to become a volunteer at the Wood Dale Public Library! Library teen volunteers must be age 13 and older (as of fall of the upcoming school year) and a Wood Dale Public Library District resident or attend a school served by the Wood Dale Public Library to apply.
Volunteers help our librarians with programs and program prep.
If you already submitted a volunteer application and have been accepted, you can sign up for teen volunteer opportunities.
