The Wood Dale Public Library provides study rooms, wired tables for devices, and all the free Wi‑Fi and resources you need to power through any project. And don’t forget to stop by the coffee bar for a little pick-me-up!

The Library has study rooms available for public use. Study rooms provide an ideal space for individuals or small groups to work and collaborate on a variety of projects. Each room features a table with a charging station, six chairs, a white board, and flat-screen TV. HDMI cables and TV remote available upon request.

Wood Dale Public Library cardholders may reserve a study room up to 14 days in advance by using our online reservation system below, calling the Library, or visiting the Public Services Desk for assistance. Study rooms are reserved for a maximum of two hours at a time.

Study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis for non-cardholders. Non-cardholders may make same-day reservations but cannot reserve a study room in advance using our online system. Reservations can be made in person or over the phone for up to two hours at a time.

  • Patrons (ages sixth grade and up) are limited to one two-hour reservation per day.
  • Study room reservations are held for 15 minutes past the start time before the reservation is canceled.
  • Room reservations may be extended beyond the initial two hour limit, depending on availability and demand.
  • Study rooms are not soundproof, and users should be mindful of noise levels and Library policies when using a room.
  • Study rooms may not be used for commercial activities such as direct sales or depositions.
  • Light refreshments are allowed, including covered drinks. Users must dispose of all garbage before leaving the room. Trash cans are provided in each room.
