The Library’s StoryWalk^® invites families to enjoy reading in a whole new way—by combining a children’s book with an outdoor walk! 

Installed along the path in our backyard, the StoryWalk^® features pages of a story displayed on signs, each paired with fun, interactive activities that promote movement, engagement, and early literacy. The featured story changes seasonally, so there’s always something new to discover.

StoryWalks^® are a great way to enjoy books while getting fresh air and light exercise, and ours is open year-round during daylight hours. While visiting, be sure to explore the nearby play equipment designed for young children, take a break on the benches, and soak in the peaceful sights and sounds of nature.
