If you have an email address on file with your card, you can reset your PIN by clicking My Account then selecting “Reset My PIN” on the sign in screen. Call or stop by the Library for assistance with resetting your pin number.
The Library’s public WiFi network is “wdplpublic.” Any device capable of connecting to the internet may use this network. Please visit our Computers and Internet page for detailed information about using the Library’s computers.
Wood Dale Public Library cardholders may reserve a room up to 14 days in advance. Non-cardholders can make same day reservations on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, visit our Study Rooms and Meeting Rooms pages.
Your Wood Dale Public Library card gives you access to all Illinois public libraries. If the library you’re visiting is in the SWAN consortium, simply scan your library card to check out your materials! If the library you’re visiting is not in SWAN, you need to register your library card with them before using their services.
Library users can return items in our two convenient book drop locations. Our outdoor book drop is located in the parking lot, near the flagpole, and is open 24/7. Users can also use our indoor book drop, located next to the Public Services Desk, during regular library hours. Please separate books from media, and return Library of Things Items and Launchpads to the Public Services Desk directly to avoid damage.
We understand that mistakes happen. If an item you borrow gets lost or damaged, please bring it into the Library and a staff member will work with you to find a solution.
Library users may renew items over the phone, in person, or online using the “My Account” feature through our catalog. Items will renew automatically if there are no other holds on them. Some items are ineligible for renewal. Please contact us for specific requests or questions.
