Holiday Schedule

The Library will be closed on December 24 and December 25. We will reopen on December 26 at 10am.

The Library will also be closed on December 31 and January 1, reopening on January 2 at 10am.

Our online resources remain open 24/7, where you can access digital books, movies, music, and more.

Do you enjoy discovering new reads and discussing interesting topics with other readers? 

The Wood Dale Public Library has a variety of book clubs for adult patrons. Book club titles are available at the Library and may also be available through our digital library.

Book Club Express

Meet at the Target Starbucks in Wood Dale to chat about popular books with this informal book group. 

Typically meets monthly at 7pm on the third Wednesday of the month.

Not Your Mother’s Book Club

Join our romance book club where we’ll read different romance genres. If it has a Happily Ever After, it’s fair game. Children are welcome to play or partake in an activity while we discuss.

Typically meets every other month at 6pm on Thursdays. 

Nonfiction Readers’ Club

Join other nonfiction enthusiasts for engaging discussions about history, science, memoirs, and everything in between! 

Typically meets monthly at 7pm on the third Thursday of the month.

Mystery Lovers’ Club

We read all types of mysteries, from classic “whodunnits” to cozies and professional detective novels.

Typically meets every other month at 7pm on the first Tuesday of the month. 

Polish Book Club / Klub Książki

Klub Książki spotyka się w Art Gallery Kafe w Wood Dale. Książki będą omawiane w języku polskim.

Polish Book Club meets at the Art Gallery Kafe in Wood Dale. Books will be discussed in the Polish Language. 

Typically meets every other month at 7pm on the third Tuesday of the month.
