The Library provides free delivery of library materials to Wood Dale residents and registered Wood Dale Public Library cardholders who are physically unable to visit the Library due to a disability or an illness. Home delivery services are available year-round. Please fill out our online form or call us to schedule your next delivery or pick-up and allow a Library staff member up to 2 business days to complete your request.

Homebound Delivery Application

Our homebound delivery service opens up our wonderful collections to those who cannot come to the library in person. Whether it's because of a temporary disability or some other reason, we can work with you to deliver a wide variety of materials to help you work, learn, and play.

How homebound delivery works:

If you have a Wood Dale Public Library card (or a Wood Dale Public Library District resident) and have a temporary disability or are unable to visit the library in person, you can sign up. We will review your application and work with you to set up the service. You can either use our catalog to request the items you would like, or we can select materials for you based on your needs and interests. Deliveries are made generally once every two to four weeks at a convenient time and are delivered by Library staff.
